A long time coming...

I can't believe that we are nearing the end of a journey that started so many years ago. Jay and his team have not only run the engine in situ but have also taken it out for a brief taxi! Wow! Just a few more bits'n'pieces to go apparently and then it's into the paperwork. Who knows, with the biannual Air show coming up, it might even get to fly in it -wouldn't that be something?

There is a slight snag though: we do need a test pilot and the one we'd lined up has since moved out of the district. So the search starts for another -any volunteers out there?

  1. Congrats on reaching this milestone. If you haven't completed the mandatory flight testing in time will you be displaying as static at Classic Fighters?

  2. Thanks for the congrats! (I've just found it -and the only comment I have found). As you've discovered, it didn't make the airshow but it shouldn't be too long now (says he with fingers crossed!) You can bet your bottom dollar there'll be a splash about it when it does finally take flight!
