Progress!

Rex really is making progress now, as he has started work on the second wing, while he waits for a supply of spruce to arrive to complete the leading edge of the first wing. And we're still waiting on the arrival of the required nuts'n'bolts to get the engine mounting permanently in place.  Then it's on to the engine itself! Must try to contain my impatience.
Brian meanwhile is producing a fine little dashboard to hold the remaining engine instruments and that is going to sit underneath the existing engine panel. Talking of which I varnished the exposed pieces of wood and have found that the colour Brain mixed up for the fuselage frame is almost exactly the same colour -very hard to detect the difference at first glance. Must get a photo to show how well he's done for next time.  So we are feeling pleased with ourselves at the moment.
